Crown mode
One crown for the whole game. Whoever holds it scores points; everyone else gives chase.
The crown appears on the map. The first player to reach it takes it.
While you hold it, you earn points every minute. Most points at the end wins.
Get close to whoever holds it to steal it. You'll be invisible to the others for a few seconds.
Whoever lost it has to stay put for the same amount of time. Leave early and you lose points.
Stick together with your crown holder and you score more points. But rivals can also steal it from further away.
With fog turned on, you only see rivals close to you. Arrows point you towards the others.
There's a top speed, on foot or by bike. Go too fast and you lose points and can't grab the crown for a while.
If you close the app or lose GPS, you stop counting and the crown drops where you were.

Empaiters is a GPS chase game you play in the street from your phone: real-life tag. The organiser draws an area on the map, shares the link, and players chase each other around the neighbourhood to grab the crown and score points.
